I can honestly say that some people are truly gifted when it comes to getting the right conditions for a days fishing and Ron Ransley and his team at Boxalls are top of the league! Monday blazing hot, Tuesday blazing hot, Wednesday (their day) overcast and mild with slight drizzle late afternoon followed by rain just ten minutes after they packed up. Thursday blazing hot again!
As a result the fishing remained pretty steady all day with the bulk of the catch of 45 Rainbows and one brown (returned) coming on daddy longlegs fished dry.
A great day and one especially for Sophie who caught not only her first ever trout but then proceeded to get five more, watched and occasionally assisted by Dad Ian! Who said women`s pheromones don`t make any difference.
